LeBron James conducted an impromptu mic check at the announcers' table during the fourth quarter of Friday night's game at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
LeBron had just deflected a ball out of bounds after trying unsuccessfully to steal a cross-court pass by the visiting Philadelphia 76ers. LeBron's momentum carried him over to the announcers' table, where he found himself staring at a FOX Sports microphone. Naturally, LeBron couldn't resist the opportunity, so he pretended to talk into it for a second or two before getting back to his defensive position, drawing some laughs from the fans and announcers alike.
LeBron led the Heat with 25 points and 10 rebounds, and the Heat extended their win streak to 17 games with a 102-93 victory over the Sixers.

Apparently, LeBron James is using the power of Twitter for good this week by posting this unique picture of his sons, Bronny and Brice. The below photo shows their brand-new haircuts reminiscent of "Kid N' Play":(Courtesy of Larry Brown Sports)
Is there another dynamic duo that is playing as lights out as LeBron James and Dwayne Wade right now? Maybe Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook? Kobe Bryant and >insert name
No. The two stars from the Miami Heat are playing some incredible basketball this season. As evidence I offer this clip from the end of the first half of Sunday's game with the Indiana Pacers:
All season long the MVP has appeared to be LeBron James's to lose with Kevin Durant destined to come in second yet again. However, if the Los Angeles Lakers make the post season the award needs to go to Kobe Bryant.
But FatMan, the MVP is a team award so why should the Lakers playoff future matter?
Have you watched these guys play lately? If they make the post season it...
With yet another win in the books, the Miami Heat turned their attention to the streak.
And, no, not that 17-game winning one.
LeBron James scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 22 points and the Heat pulled away late to beat Philadelphia 102-93 on Friday night - their 12th straight regular-season win over Philadelphia, their 13th in a row at home and most...
MIAMI -- The Miami Heat took names and filed them away. Then, as if it were a Charles Bronson movie, they came back to deliver revenge.
Well, the Heat hit list is finally complete.
When the Heat beat Indiana 105-91 Sunday night at AmericanAirlines Arena, it marked the first time in their 25-year history they've beaten every other NBA team in the regular season.
Outside of Miami's LeBron James, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant might be the best player in all of the NBA.
During Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics, KD soared to the rack in the third quarter of play and got an and-one opportunity for his flight:
The Miami Heat's winning streak continues to grow. While the team insists they're focused on the bigger picture, a home matchup with the struggling Philadelphia 76ers seems to pose little threat to the team's red-hot run.
Miami can win its 17th straight game, matching the 12th-longest streak in NBA history and the league's best this season, with a victory over the...
Every off season, NBA free agents (or all athletes playing professional sports) are faced with the ability to shop their services to the highest bidder. Eventually the decision boils down to one key question: either sign with the team that gives the best monetary offer or the one that gives the best chance to win a title.
For every James Harden and Dwight Howard, that chooses...
