Miami Heat star LeBron James, who helped lead his team to an NBA title and brought back an Olympic gold medal, has been selected as SI’s Sportsman of the Year. James, who turns 28 this month, picked up his third Most Valuable Player award while helping the Heat to a 46-20 record and a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals.
