PLAYERS: LeBron James
TEAMS: Miami Heat
LeBron James the great Miami Heat player who DISSED the Cleveland Cavaliers in search of a ring is now saying “Rings Shouldn’t Matter”.  Come on LeBron, when you left the Cavaliers you said it was because you wanted to win a NBA Championship and you wanted to get your ring. Now that one of the greatest NBA players comes out and picks Kobe over LeBron, you are making a statement that rings shouldn’t be a measure of greatness. Aren’t you being a Hypocrite? After all, it was LeBron who needed to get a ring so he could be measured as a great NBA player. Now that M.J. picked Kobe over James, he feels like he isn’t as great. It is a fact that in any sport championships are how you measure greatness. James is a great NBA player. The fact is he only has one ring so far. The Miami Heat could very well repeat this season. The team that LeBron leads is playing some great basketball.  James is continuing to set new records on the floor and when it is all said and done he will be one of the grea...

MJ has his money on Kobe over LeBron; LeBron doesn’t care

via ESPN: Michael Jordan said in an interview with NBA TV that, if given a choice, he would take Bryant over LeBron James. His primary reason being the jewelry case of Kobe Bryant that LeBron James cannot match yet. Here it is quoted by MJ: ” Five beats one every time I look at it. And not that (James) won’t get five. He may get more than that, but five is bigger than one...

Michael Jordan: I’d take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James, but LeBron can get there

Michael Jordan likes to measure success by championships, and why wouldn’t he? Jordan won six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls and is considered by most to be the greatest basketball player to ever live. And because of championships, MJ says he would take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James at the moment. “If you had to pick between the two, that would be a tough choice,” Jordan...

MJ, LBJ or Kobe?

You can make an argument that  Lebron James, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant all could be rated  the number one player of All-Time. If I was a betting man, Jordan would be the number one choice. The game in the Jordan era was different, more physical, lots of hand checking and harder fouls were allowed. Second for me would be Kobe. He has the work ethic of MJ and a drive of his...

2013 NBA All-Star Game Top Plays (Videos)

Was 1988 or 2000 the greatest NBA Slam dunk contest ever

Yesterday NBA TV was running an NBA Slam Dunk Contest marathon, which is pretty much porn for a sports degenerate like myself. They showed the 1988 MJ vs Dominique dunk contest directly after the 2000 Vinansity dunk contest. I have no doubt that these are the best two dunk contests ever. In 1988 Michael Jordan vs Dominique Wilkins was the most epic back and forth battle in slam dunk...
