Saying you ran the 40 faster than Manti Te’o isn’t really something to be proud of. Some of the offensive lineman at the combine ran faster than Te’o, even Rich Eisen wasn’t far off the mark (by the way, the 40 is heavily overrated way to measure if someone is fast in football speed) We have to remember than Te’o was under stress and didn’t have a lot of sleep and that was the reason for his poor combine performance. I guess Te’o believes no other player at the NFL Combine was under stress as well, considering millions of dollars are at stake depending on your performance, but I digress. The King was asked about his 40 time and had some interesting insight on his training and how his time compares to Te’o. NFL Combine again the pregame entertainment in the Heat locker room. Asked his 40 time, LeBron said he rana 4.6 in training last summer. — Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) February 26, 2013 LeBron on his 4.6 40 that he pointed out was without training, “It’s better than Manti Te’o, I’ll tell you that.” — Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) February 26, 2013
BEST OF MAXIM
Sometimes the best slam dunks don't happen during NBA games but before them and that logic is evidenced in the below video of Miami Heat star LeBron James throwing down a sick dunk during a Heat lay-up line. The dunk comes at about the :35 second mark of the video as LeBron does a spinning behind-the-back alley-oop dunk:
LeBron James is on a monster of a tear, which continued Tuesday with King James scoring a season-high 40 points in a 141-129 double-overtime win over the Sacramento Kings. Forty is a ridiculous number but seems almost pedestrian for superhuman LeBron.
James made 14-of-23 field goals and 11-of-12 free throws in the shootout. He nearly put together another triple-double with 16...
LeBron James continues to troll, troll, troll his boat prior to NBA games in the form of some nasty dunks. We wrote about LeBron trolling regarding the dunk contest last week, and he continued to do the same prior to the Heat’s last game. Check out Bron’s basic alley-oop to himself between his legs dunk. No big deal, wouldn’t even register at the dunk contest.
Tweet Earlier this week we gave you video of LeBron James performing a sick dunk in warm-ups that would have registered pretty high scores in a dunk contest. Tuesday before the Heat played the Kings LeBron pulled another amazing dunk out of his bag of tricks, this time going between his legs mid-air with relative ease: [...]
The Big Leagues One fan responds to the King.
Oh, nothing to see here folks. Just LeBron James putting on a little dunk contest prior to the Heat’s game against the Cavs on Sunday. ‘Bron has continually trolled the world about his possible inclusion in the NBA’s dunk contest, and he didn’t participate again this year. After seeing this video of him dunking you can bet this will spark another round of “if only LeBron...
Fans can sure be stupid sometimes.
Here you have one of the best basketball players to ever play the game, and he likes to put on a little show during warm-ups for the fans by performing some crazy dunks. What do we do? We complain and harass the man about not performing in the Dunk Contest.
This should be the point where I say I get it; that I'm with you fans, but...
Anyone and everyone who likes NBA basketball has been begging All-Stars like Lebron James to take part in the Dunk Conte…

AWFULLY NICE OF HIM
Despite his saying that he was considering ending his pregame dunk displays, LeBron James apparently had a change of heart and said he will continue to do them.
Ever since Lebron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers to go to Miami, the Cavs have been rebuilding and now almost three years later, they have assembled an excellent group of players. Kyrie Irving is a budding superstar and a franchise player, Dion Waiters is a fantastic secondary scoring option, Tristan Thompson is becoming one of the best rebounders in the NBA and has developed...

When it rains, it pours for Manti Te’o. Seriously, is there anyone in the world who is having a worse couple of months than this guy? He has gone from the Heisman runner up, to the butt of every sports related joke, and now sliding down draft boards all over the NFL.
Te’o is not know for being extremely impressive athletically, but he definitely...
MIAMI (AP) -- Dwyane Wade got hot down the stretch, and LeBron James missed a layup in the final minute.
Both were huge breaks for the Miami Heat.
James scored 28 points, Wade scored 11 of his 24 in the final five minutes -- when Miami needed him most -- and the Heat extended the NBA's longest current winning streak to 11 games, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 109-105 in a...
The young Cavaliers are suddenly developing into consistent winners. After a rough start this season, made rougher by a brutal schedule, the Cavs are showing signs of growth.
With one of the NBA's youngest rosters, they went 7-5 in February, their first month with a winning record since 2010, when LeBron James was still wearing wine and gold. All-Star guard Kyrie Irving missed...
