The Miami Heat put together the 2nd most impressive streak in NBA history, winning 27 regular season games in row. It came to an end on Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls. Once it was over, LeBron James was fuming. The Miami Heat forward not only was upset that they weren’t going to get the opportunity to match and best the 41-year old record held by the 71-72 Lakers, but he was especially frustrated with how the referees allowed the Heat to play so physical. This game was cumulation of season long frustration for James. Via HoopsWorld: “It’s been happening all year, and I’ve been able to keep my cool and try to tell Spo (Heat coach Erik Spoelstra), ‘Let’s not worry about it,’ ” James said. “But it is getting to me a little bit. Every time I try to defend myself, I’ve got to face the consequences of a flagrant or a technical foul or whatever the case may be. “It’s tough.
