Outside the Boxscore:
One thing that I knew was going to happen during last night's Miami Heat/Los Angeles Clippers affair was that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were going to connect on a memorable play.
In the first quarter of the game, watch as LeBron catches the jump balland finds D-Wade with an outlet pass that leads to a two-handed dunk:
BEST OF MAXIM
AROUND THE WEB
Dwyane Wade has taken many bold fashion steps over the past few years ever since hiring a consultant to dress him. He’s worn the pointless nerd glasses, color-coordinated his finger wraps with his ties, and he even painted his toe nails. Maybe his most notable look was the hot pink pants he wore during the playoffs. Coming in a close second are the super-skinny pants he wore on...
PUTS THE 'ACK' IN 'SLACKS'
Dwyane Wade will probably be the subject of quite a few of my “Fashion Glances.” One, because he clearly loves fashion and two because people usually have a strong reaction to his choices. Case in point, LeBron James posted this photo of DWade to Instagram last night following Heat vs. Rockets- the Rockets had this [...]
Dwyane Wade managed to make his Wednesday start, but he was clearly off. He was not able to play last night, though. The Miami Heat star has a sprained left foot, and will need some time to recover. The exact amount of time is still unknown, but the Heat and Wade hope it won't be long. Ethan Skolnick of the Palm Beach Post says Wade could miss Saturday's game as well...
These videos are the absolute best. Someone needs to tell fans who sit in the front row at NBA games that being so close to the court doesn’t entitle you to a handshake from the world’s top player. Just look at this guy all ready to give LeBron the “wassup homie” handshake/hug only to be ignored. How dare he think he was going to receive daps from King James. The only thing...
There are so many great things about this play. First Eric hustles back when most players would just let a two on none happen. Not Eric, he comes running in and gets up higher than Dwyane Wade for the block. Great play for a young player that a lot of writers are high on. I am a little surprised Dwyane Wade didn't call Bledsoe dirty or cheap after that block like he usually...
Back on Tuesday, LeBron James decided to post this photo of teammate Dwyane Wade rocking some skinny jeans on a recent flight.Clearly, Wade needed assistance to just get into those pants:(Courtesy of USA Today)
A couple of years ago, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade's dunk attempts weren't going to be swatted by many people. However, D-Wade is getting up their in NBA age (He's 30) and last night, he got victimized by Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe swatting a dunk attempt in the second quarter of play:
Dwyane Wade was attempting to finish a possession with a nice slam, but instead found Eric Bledsoe blocking his shot during Wednesday night’s Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers game. Dwyane Wade’s age is finally showing. H/T Jose3030The post Eric Bledsoe Blocks Dwyane Wade (Video) appeared first on The NBA Mistress.
LeBron James was receiving ice and stimulation treatment on his bruised shoulder after Miami's win over the Nuggets.
The Clippers bench is solid. They reinforce their value every game. During Wednesday night’s game against the Miami Heat, reserve point guard Eric Bledsoe chased down Dwyane Wade and got up for a pretty amazing block. Should I mention DWade was a game time decision with some sort of foot aliment? Ok, I did. For [...]
After the Miami Heat's 98-93 victory over the Denver Nuggets, Heat star LeBron James decided to go say hi to Denver Broncos Willis McGahee.
One of the guys sitting next to Willis McGahee wanted to show some love to LeBron as well but got left hanging by King James:
Come on, Channing Tatum wasn’t about to make it that easy for LeBron James.
After LeBron won his first NBA championship — ridding himself of a dump truck full of demons in the process — and then went on to lead Team USA to a gold medal in the London Olympics, everyone figured he was having the best year a person could possibly have.
Buuuuuut in the midst of all of that, Channing...
When the Thunder traded James Harden shortly before the season, the small-market contender did more than clear salary cap space. In dealing the heady two-guard, the Thunder also signaled that they believed Kevin Durant was ready to expand his game and to fill some of the roles Harden formerly occupied.
Durant has come through so far this season, and then some. Not only has he assumed...
While their offense has been up to the task, the Miami Heat's defense hasn't been close to championship form.
The Denver Nuggets have similar concerns defensively with the NBA's highest-scoring team coming to town Thursday night.
After finishing fourth in the league in scoring defense at 92.5 points per game during their 2011-12 championship season, Miami (6-3) ranks...
