Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
Over the weekend, league MVP LeBron James casually took a stroll around Chicago over the weekend with a Chicago cops caravan as company. The Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls are currently in a very physical playoff series and the Chicago streets have been on âabout that lifeâ status for a few summers. So, I suppose it makes sense that LeBron not venture out alone. But where was team security if it was really going to cause a mini parade. I wonder if some of those officers just wanted to say they were two feet away from King James?

LeBron James is the second highest earner amongst professional athletes in the United States in 2013, finishing behind Floyd Mayweather.
James is projected to earn $56.5 million with $39 million in endorsements.
James is the first team-sport player in the top two on the list since Shaquille OâNeal in 2004.
Does LeBron Jamesâ arsenal of weapons on the hardwood include a mastery in the art of flopping? A lot of people say yes, especially the Chicago Bulls right now. In fact, head coach Tom Thibodeau was just fined $35K for saying the Heat were getting the calls and stating, âI see how things are going, I watch very closely,â âWeâre not going to get calls, thatâs reality...
In response to Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau accusing LeBron James of flopping on the shove from Nazr Mohammed that sent the MVP down to the hardwood, James says that while he will do whatever it takes for his team to win, he is not a flopper and never has been.

If you looked at the 2011-12 and 2012-13 NBA seasons in a vacuum, youâd swear on your life that LeBron James was the greatest basketball player and leader the game has seen since the days of Michael Jordan and the Miami Heat the most formidable collection of talent since the dynastic teams of the 1970s [...]The post The Reorganization Of The Miami Heatâs Big 3 appeared first...
It was the shove heard 'round the basketball loving world! I''m talking about that moment in Game Three of the Miami Heat/Chicago Bulls series when Nazr Mohammed took offense to what he believed was LeBron James trying to trip him and sent the league MVP to the floor instead.
And now he is saying he is sorry. Sort of.
On Twitter Nazr did apologize for his actions...
Tom Thibodeau spoke his mind about the NBAâs refs, and in return, the Bullsâ head coachâs wallet will be a little lighter on Sunday.
The NBA fined Thibodeau $35,000 for comments that were critical of the refereeing in Game 3 of the Bulls-Heat series, according to the leagueâs official release. Thibodeau wasnât happy with a call that got Nazr Mohammed ejected from the game...
The suggestion that he's a flopper drew a grin as wide as his wingspan from LeBron James.
Miami's superstar shot down the accusations from the Chicago Bulls, saying they reminded him of the days when some claimed he was overrated and questioned his ability to lead a team to a championship.
''It's kind of the same (as when) I heard people say I was overrated...
Andrew Wiggins is widely considered one of the best high school basketball players we have seen since LeBron James, so you can imagine there were plenty of anxious folks waiting to hear where he would be attending college. What happened: The Miami Heat have taken a 3-1 lead over the Chicago Bulls with an 88-65 win Monday at Chicago in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
The Bulls have run out of gas with injured players Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng having been out all series.
It seems unlikely that the Bulls have enough energy left to win another game in this series.
In a bit of a surprise the number one basketball player in the country Andrew Wiggins is headed to Kansas to play his college basketball. Most experts thought Wiggins was headed to Florida State, where both of his parents went to school. The other two schools that were finalists for Wiggins were Kentucky and North Carolina.

Five-star phenom Andrew Wiggins committed to Kansas yesterday and has been called the most dominant high school player since LeBron James. The 6â7â superstar was on Syracuseâs radar last fall, but the Orange never even offered a scholarship to the Huntington Prep small forward. Why didnât Jim Boeheim didnât make a hard push at the nationâs top hoops recruit?
