LeBronapalooza underway

LeBron James’ white Escalade pulled into the garage underneath IMG in downtown Cleveland Thursday morning. Hanging behind him was an enormous “Home” banner with the Cavaliers’ logo on it. James will soon decide whether it’s time to turn his back on home. The meetings with perhaps the most coveted free agent in NBA history began about an hour later than expected. James pulled into IMG at 10:58 a.m. and was followed eight minutes later by the New Jersey Nets contingent, which included owner Mikhail Prokhorov, rap mogul Jay-Z, team president Rod Thorn and newly hired head coach Avery Johnson. Prokhorov’s pitch is simple: He’ll make James a billionaire and global star. Having good friend Jay-Z along for the pitch will only help the Nets’ chances.
