Right on schedule, the honors are starting to roll in for Jeremy Lin, who on Monday was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Really, nobody knows the answers to the questions surrounding Lin, as much as everyone wants to have them right now. It’s New York, so jumping ahead is what we do. It’s our favorite pastime, as we saw in the two-year run-up to LeBron’s free agency and all the talk about the King coming to the Garden. LeBron James never had a chance.“He’s the talk of New York and the talk of all the NBA,” Carmelo Anthony said Monday.
