The Rhino and Compass:
One round down, one to go. Charles Barkley is a fool.
Florida Gulf Coast upset Georgetown, and they proved themselves to be very athletic while doing so.
And then the star for FGCU celebrated with cheerleaders.
In other Big Dance action, the steps are difficult to navigate.
Kansas 64, Western Kentucky 57 – The Jayhawks are fotunate that the FGCU-Georgetown and Southern-Gonzaga games also happened .
Minnesota 83, UCLA 63 – It’s almost as if the Big Ten is a really tough conference and compared to the rest of the country, Minnesota might be fairly decent.
BEST OF MAXIM
When it comes to the tournament, we are all influenced by out own personal biases. Perhaps you think a particular conference is strong, or they are week, or a team is strong or not because of the few times you watched them, or your history with a team. Maybe you don’t like a style or you are just going off of your gut. There are a lot of factors.
Whatever his factors, Charles Barkley...
CHUCK FULL O'WISDOM
Now deaf people can see the fact that Charles Barkley definitely says 'turrible' when he really means 'terrible' with this funky closed captioning job.
Charles Barkley and the CBS crew caught up with Marshall Henderson and Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy on Saturday to learn a little more about Marshall Madness.
Remember when Charles Barkley was smart? No.... Us either. Don't worry we never even entertain that possiblity, but remember when the round mound said this on Sunday:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Oh boy do you look like an idiot now or what? Still think the Mountain West is better than the Big Ten now you fool? 1-3 in Day 1 of the tourney and the conference champion...
Despite Charles Barkley sounding like he had a few too many cocktails last night, he delivered a gem this morning on CBS.
Barkley asked Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy if he ever says to himself “there’s something wrong with that kid” in reference to Marshall Henderson. Heck knows the rest of us have.
Charles Barkley threw up Marshall Henderson's trademark 'landshark' on national TV.
At this point pretty sure Weight Watchers just hopes you misremember that Charles Barkley worked for them.

This is so splendid on so many levels. I would love to meet the person behind this closed caption on CBS just to shake their hand and applaud them for their incredible accuracy in transcribing analyst Charles Barkley’s words.

Charles Barkley Rants on Billy Packer’s CBS March Madness Coverage Comments...
He's criticized social media for years. He even said "Tweet is for losers," in a video on his own NBA/Turner Sports-managed website two years ago. To anyone and everyone, Barkley has made it known that he hates Twitter, Facebook and any other form of social media.
Now comes word in an Adweek article that Barkley may finally cave and join Twitter. Granted, the account...
We all know that Turner Sports analyst Charles Barkley has a tendency to not think before he speaks and earlier tonight during a live look-in of the Kansas/Western Kentucky match-up, he had an unfortunate verbal error.
During the live look-in, Kansas center Jeff Withey was called for a foul on a shot attempt and Barkley accidentally called him "Whitey":
Over the last few months sports announcers have become known for saying stupid things. Some of the more recent acts of idiocy include Warren Sapp's flub as well as Bill Walton's passive aggressive protest to the Twitter suspension of colleague Bill Simmons.
Now we can add Charles Barkley calling a white basketball player "Whitey."
To be fair, the player...
Good afternoon! How are your brackets?
If you didn’t see this on Friday, the US men’s national soccer team played a game against Costa Rica in a blizzard.
There is a lot of animosity towards Aaron Craft.
Charles Barkley: Turrible.
Minnesota 2, San Jose 0 – Backstrom hasn’t been great this season so this was a good result all around.
The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is in the books. With the parity in college basketball, it shouldn't be a surprise that the stories of the tournament thus far are Florida Gulf Coast and La Salle. The Rounds of 64 and 32 delivered with dramatic endings, memorable games, feuds between analysts and conferences, and enough screengrabs and GIFs to last a lifetime. What...
