Chris Paul had 24 points, including the game-winning 17-footer with 3.2 seconds left, Blake Griffin added 16 points and 11 rebounds and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 78-77 on Friday. After needing 45 games to get 20 wins last season, the Philadelphia 76ers are in position to do it in 16 fewer if they can beat the Charlotte Bobcats.

Ohio dropped its final regular-season game against a Mid-American Conference West Division foe this evening when it lost at Eastern Michigan, 68-55. The Bobcats fell to 7-4 in league play and maintain an overall mark of 19-6.
The Bobcats of Bogue Chitto are poised for a run deep into the postseason in 2012. A talented offensive squad is led by rising senior wide out Germie Martin.
