Beyond The Buzzer:
Luol Deng missed Game 6, a Bulls 95-92 loss, with what was described as flu-like symptoms. Deng took to Twitter to defend his illness and stifle backlash he had received for not playing through the flu with his other sick teammates, Taj Gibson and Nate Robinson – the latter who spent his time on the bench with a trash can by his side. Deng confirmed reports that he actually spent much of Wednesday in the ER to receive a spinal tap to check for viral meningitis (it was negative), and his symptoms have since worsened, as he revealed he is back in the hospital Friday afternoon where he may be kept overnight. He assured fans that if he is medically cleared he will fly to Brooklyn for Game 7 Saturday evening.

Brooklyn Nets/Chicago Bulls: Game 6
- I am picking both road teams tonight. I would have picked the Nets even before I learned Luol Deng was not playing. Last night I recorded a podcast where I compared these Nets to the 2006 Phoenix Suns who came back from 3-1 down against the L.A. Lakers. I just think the Nets are the better team and that they will win the series...
