One of the biggest stars in music today is aggravated with a certain NBA playoff team choosing to play his music to pump up their home fans.  Seattle based rapper Macklemore was informed by a Twitter follower that the Oklahoma City Thunder was playing his latest hit, "Can't Hold Us", to excite the home fans in the arena.  Macklemore's response was less than enthusiastic... RT @coug123: So apparently the OKC blunder are using @macklemore 'Can't hold us' as a song to hype up the crowd in their arena — Macklemore (@macklemore) May 13, 2013 The song is a huge hit, just reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.  It has over 25 million views on YouTube.  It's got a rhythm that would surely make it a crowd favorite in arenas and stadiums around the country - maybe not on the level of Seven Nation Army, but we're dying for some new stadium tracks.  And I'm sure Macklemore would love to hear it being played all around the country... just not for the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Macklemore is a dedicated Seattle sports fan who even recorded a tribute song to legendary Mariners announcer Dave Niehaus.  The "Thrift Shop" singer also retweeted a message of support from former Sonic great Detlef Schrempf. “@dschrempf: @king5seattle @macklemore that's ours and not okc!” — Macklemore (@macklemore) May 13, 2013 Oklahoma City's NBA team using a passionate Seattlean (Seattler? Seattlite?) to pump up their crowd is just another twist of the knife in the backs of Sonics fans.  The only way for Seattle to get revenge would be for them to successfully get the Kings and then blast Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now" over the PA system.
