The Memphis Grizzlies announced Saturday that center, Marc Gasol, will be out indefinitely with an abdominal tear. This is a huge blow to Memphis who sit just a 1/2 game back of the Clippers for fourth place, and home-court advantage, in the Western Conference. Gasol, averaging 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 68 games this season, has not missed a game up until this point.
According to Memphis Grizzlies:
Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol will be out indefinitely with an abdominal tear, the team announced on Saturday.
Gasol originally suffered the injury in a win over Portland on March 6, but aggravated the tear in Friday’s loss to the New Orleans Hornets. There is no time table for his return.
