Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers is on top of the world he just won an NBA championship in June. Chalmers has had quite the basketball career so far at only 26. He hit the game tying three to send Kansas into overtime. The Jayhawks won the national title in overtime. Chalmers was key in the Heat’s title run this season he scored 25 points in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. While there is no question that Chalmers is a great player he is not elite but he thinks he is. He was asked if he thinks Rajon Rondo is the best point guard in the league. “He’s not the best, but he’s in the top five. There are a lot of great point guards in the league, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Steve Nash. There are a lot of great guards in the NBA so for him to say he’s the best is a pretty bold statement.
