Everyone knows that current Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) is a little off at times and has no problem voicing his point of view on many topics about the game.
Wednesday night after the Golden State Warriors hung on to defeat the San Antonio Spurs in game two of the second round, World Peace had some high praise for Curry, although he may have butchered his name a bit:
Curry had some fun with the name blunder, and responded in hilarious fashion:
Curry also had a classic response to a quote from Spurs coach Gregg Popovich comparing him to Michael Jordan before the series began, which you can see here.
Gotta appreciate a player with a sense of humor. Curry followed up his 44-point, 11-assist game one performance by scoring 22 points in game two. The Spurs and Warriors continue their series on Friday at Golden State, and you can bet Steve, or Steph, Curry will be ready to go.
