PLAYERS: Dwyane Wade
TEAMS: Miami Heat

The Miami Heat should part with Dwyane Wade. The Heat play better without him. Wade is injury prone. And above all else, they have Lebron freaking James! The Miami Heat are currently riding an impressive six game winning streak without Wade. NBA teams say that the Heat are extremely dangerous when Wade is not on the floor because they spread the floor more. This leaves more lanes for Lebron to drive to the hoop without it being crowded, and everyone standing around. In the past three games, the Heat have been shooting 32-60, 53% from behind the arc. With Wade not playing, the Heat are spacing the floor, and it gives Lebron the chance to drive and kick to the shooters. Wade is known for being injury prone. Out of 656 games that he could have played (not including this year), he has played in 547 of them. Looking at that percentage you’d think that’s not that bad, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Wade has always tried to play through his injuries or he has missed a long streak of games. You have to admire Wade for playing through his injuries, but does that help or hurt his longevity in the league? [...]

  • Funny how the media turns on you when you are down and injured. Once you begin to win, its all good. Look at the teams the Heat play, not that impressive so they win it all. Lebron could not stand up to the real teams in the NBA, he chokes.
  • i also agree with both posting Lebron still have to get a ring Dewayne did it without Lebron.
  • whomever wrote this article is retarded! How do you get rid of Dwade? I don't care how many games they've won without him. Its up to the coach to make sure there is spacing on the court so both LeBron and Dwade will have room to slash to the basket. Do you know anything about sports? Idiot!!
  • Dude you are so freaking on point with this one, i need not say anything but ditto!!!
  • Let's try to understand...The person who wrote this initial crap has never played basketball at a high level and really can't possibily understand. You are correct; the coach is suppose to see the spacing on the floor and correct this problem. Players play and in the heat of a game don't see what sideliners see. Great reply to that non-sense statement.
  • exactly!!!
  • both posters are entirely correct
  • people u win with a team not 3 players .hint ,90's bulls,80's pistons..the lakers and spurs and did i mention the mavs .so if wade leaves im sure he will get picked up by any team.
  • who ever says the heat should trade wade needs to go play in traffic. your obiously not a tru heat fan. wade is the heart an soul of the heat and bron or bosh wouldnt be there if it wasnt for him. wade is a proven leader and champion and he is the MOST IMPORTANT player for the heat. wade will retire with the beat end of story.
  • ridiculous - in lasdt year;s playoff, of the "big" 3, wade was the fiercest warrior.
lebron choked and bosch was mostly invisible.
wade took the fight to the mavs, but could not do it himself.

    trade lebron - he's the t.o. of hoops - a cancer.
  • I say send D Wade to Dallas and let J Kidd retire I would love for Miami to do this. LOL go Mavs
  • Whoeber says the heat should traade lebron or wade is mentally retarted. The heat wouldnt be 16-5 If lebron wasnt there. They wouldnt have made it to the finals last year if wade wasnt there. on basketball every team is gonna have its ups and downs same with every player, its imposible to be hot every game everyday. Why would you trade any part of the big 3? if you ask me haveing 3 players who are the top 15 players in the league is pretty good
  • The author of this article should not be permitted to write publically about basketball after this article was printed. D Wade is probably the best clutch player (closing minute finisher) in the league. Cleveland had "Lebron Freaking James" for years and have nothing to show for it unless you count Conference Championship appearances (and you probably do based on the lack of basketball intelligence I perceived). The Heat failed to win a championship last year with Bosh, James and Wade. They are all important to the team and it would be senseless to trade either of them. Lebron has consistently drifted late in the playoffs, especially last year. The author must not be a Heat fan to make such ridiculous statements. Let's just hope Lebron carries his current level of play through the entire season and postseason.
  • That was very well stated, Jfrieszell. It is hard to tell how the author came up with that notion. It makes you wonder it he even watches basketball.
  • The thing that make me laugh is people don't see basketball for what realy shows the weakness of a suppose be awesome big 3 just look at the Buck" game JENNING" beat heat bye himself without there number one center! The problem the heat got is the rest of the team look foe the BIG3 to score all the points because if you watch the rest of the players get caught them shooting .The heat is BEATABLE put a player against lebron that's make him play defense 4quarters against a scorer alot times they defense be sleeping? The want win a CHAMPIONSHIP not wit there sleeping Big 3
  • People why are you so stupid. Lebron james, dwade, ugly bosh. on the same team. WHY would you want that there all trying to get a ring the easy way. they need to grow up. like jordan, magic, kobe and bird all did.
  • Who cares what they do? The Heat SUCK balls. Bulls all day.
  • I would take D-WADE anyday over James. He is more of a team player, and doesn't choke in the big games. Who has a ring?
    Hint: D-WADE!!!!!!!
  • gamechanger stole my thunder... If I was starting a team, The 1st guy I would take is D-Wade. He sets the tone. I've seen him knock Kevin Garnet backwards. The way I see it, James had to Join him.
  • LeBron james the king which i will be calling him for the remainder of this post is the BEST player in the WORLD. The 6"8 270 Forward who boast career # of 27.8 ppg,7 rb,7 ast,1.7 st while playing 40+ mpg is a matchup nightmare at any of the 1-4 spots.2 time mvp, 3time All-nba 1st team D,7 time all-nba 1st or 2nd team,a 2-way terror 1 of the most durable players in any sport missing only 18 gms due to injury 0ut of 700+.Wade is a SG who shoots below average and gets a significant amount of his buckets on the most rediculously difficult shots.wade is a beastbut not PHYSICALLY better than the king in any phase of the game.Ohh and im here to officaly revoke chris Bosh's superstar card, dudes not even a top 5 PF(Blake Griffin,KLove,LaMarcus Aldrige,Dirk,STAT,Pau,maybee Z-Bo) Let alone top 15 in the L.assanine, ass a 10,ass a 11,ass a 12(Stephen A. Smith voice)anyways, cant wait unit he takes K.D. lil ass in the post this spring and wins the first of his "not 1,not 2,not 3" etc.Maybee then cats will get off his royal sceptor, and bow at the feet of the kings throne
  • dude, you're talking stats- a true MVP is MORE than stats..and believe me, no one is EVER going to bow to LeBrag, oh sorry I meant "The KING"..besides, here isn't a crown big enough to fit the oversized head he's grown over the years of lovin' himself..
  • Trade "King" James. He is obnoxious! Keep Wade.
  • Wow, what an insane plan. Get rid of one excellent player so the other has more 'room' and can win the MVP. Which just solidifies my opinion that James isn't MVP material. An MVP is not only an excellent athletic player (which James is)but he is a team player with leadership qualities. Any guy that has to get rid of a teammate to win isn't an MVP in my book. But then again, I can't stand the guy-he loves himself more than his fans collectively-also didn't like the way he deliberately slammed his arm into Noah's face-the teams 2nd flagrant foul of the game- That's ok Miami, we'll take Wade back here anyday in his home town and he can show his talents with a real 'team'... and LeBrag can have a 'clearer' court to admire himself in...
  • The Heat should part ways with Spolstra, what a joke, the big three babies will never win in Cryiami.

At Least Bosh Is Good For Something

Chris Bosh may not be killing it on the basketball court, but with his team up 3-1 in its first round series against the Knicks, nobody is too concerned about the Heat right now. That allows Bosh to fly under the radar with his game, and fine-tune his troll impression, which he shows off nicely during LeBron’s postgame interview after Game 3.

Heat look for sweep on road vs. Knicks

GREENBURGH, N.Y. (AP) -- Those Heat-Knicks series of the late 1990s always went the distance, momentum seemingly turning with every game.
