Michael Jordan Leads Hall of Fame Class

Michael Jordan leads the 2009 class of inductees into the Naismith Hall of Fame. David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan and Vivian Stringer were also selected to the Hall earlier today.It was inevitable that MJ would enter into the Hall on the first ballot. His career was unparalleled by any others. Besides averaging the highest ppg in league history 30.12, Jordan was a 14-time All Star, 5-time MVP, 6-time Final MVP, 3-time All Star MVP, 1988 Defensive Player of the year along with countless selections to the All NBA first-team and the defensive team, plus the 6 championships.Though Jordan headlines this class, his classmates are no slouches. John Stockton more than earned his way into Hall, after a 19-year career with the Utah Jazz Stockton is the NBA's all-time leader in assists(15,806) and steals (3,265).
