At 22-34, this season hasn’t been kind to the Pistons. But when you travel to Charlotte, you expect things to look fine and dandy as the Bobcats are a horrific 13-41. And while the Pistons came away with a 105-99 win, it didn’t come easy – especially for Pistons big man Greg Monroe. Monroe took some punishment from Bobcats’ rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
MKG defied the laws of everything with this crazy dunk over Moose. Pure nastiness.

I first scouted Michael Kidd-Gilchrist back in 2008 when he was just a slender sophomore at St. Patrick’s High School. Playing alongside the likes of Kyrie Irving and Dexter Strickland, it was MKG who was the chief product of the hoops hype machine — the next big thing. He had all the physical gifts in the world and...
