Miami Heat players Mike Miller and Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen apparently were unwilling to stand idly by and allow teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to steal all of the spotlight during Shane Battier’s second annual South Beach Battioke on Monday. Mentioned earlier here Tuesday at SoB, after James performed a stirring, solo rendition of a Michael Jackson classic, Wade and LeBron teamed up to serenade a young lady with some 1990s hit I have never heard of before. And while D-Wade and LeBron both performed admirably, their karaoke jams could not hold a candle to what Birdman and Miller unleashed upon those in attendance: A jaw-dropping rendition of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice Baby.” Watch if you like, but be forewarned: You may never be the same afterward. Oh my goodness. Didn’t know that song could get any whiter. Bearing in mind that this video couldn’t get any more hilarious, that realization is dashed, as the camera pans to Heat president Pat Riley, bobbing his head and grooving to the Caucasian calamity of epic proportions: Clearly, the fact that what is occurring onstage is karaoke equivalent of a Greek tragedy is evidently lost on Riley. Hoo boy. [H/T SB Nation] TweetThe post Mike Miller, Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen do ‘Ice, Ice Baby’ karaoke jam (video) appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
