A new city, with a new arena, along with a new logo uniform is not enough to give the Brooklyn Nets all the attention in New York City. The Knicks are still the main attraction, no matter how hard you try go head on over to the Black and White. Even in cyberspace.

Over the weekend, fans that were busy typing in www.nets.com, were finding themselves redirected to the Knicks All-Star ballot page, and not a landing page for the Nets. For what it is worth, that URL never took you to the homepage of the Brooklyn Nets. As of this posting, it still was redirecting to the Knicks voting page.

The owner of the domain remains a mystery, but obviously someone that isn’t a fan of the Nets, or Mikhail Prokhorov. It was once rumored that Dallas owner Mark Cuban was the owner of it, but never proven.

Rasheed Wallace Reportedly Wants To Be An NBA Coach

Rasheed Wallace, the man who just came out of retirement to play with the New York Knicks, reportedly wants to be an NBA coach after he retires again, according to an article by Eric Adelson on Yahoo! Nets.com now redirects to the official website of the Knicks

At what point will the Brooklyn Nets finally give in and make an offer to purchase the website Nets.com? Every team in the NBA has a website that you can get to by punching in the team’s name, except the Nets. On Sunday night, a trip over to Nets.com conveniently redirected users to the New York Knicks All-Star voting ballot. Now, it simply takes you to the official website of...

Nets.com domain features NY Knicks website

Domain names. If you are a company either doing business on the internet, or looking to strengthen your brand via the internet, they are quite a big deal. That's what makes the domain name of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets -- while not the most popular sports team in the planet, certainly one that is known to the casual sports fan -- so interesting. Like every other NBA team...
