A new city, with a new arena, along with a new logo uniform is not enough to give the Brooklyn Nets all the attention in New York City. The Knicks are still the main attraction, no matter how hard you try go head on over to the Black and White. Even in cyberspace.
Over the weekend, fans that were busy typing in www.nets.com, were finding themselves redirected to the Knicks All-Star ballot page, and not a landing page for the Nets. For what it is worth, that URL never took you to the homepage of the Brooklyn Nets. As of this posting, it still was redirecting to the Knicks voting page.
The owner of the domain remains a mystery, but obviously someone that isn’t a fan of the Nets, or Mikhail Prokhorov. It was once rumored that Dallas owner Mark Cuban was the owner of it, but never proven.
