TEAMS: Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers
Via Celtics Life:

Multiple sources tell Sporting News the Los Angeles Clippers are making a push to acquire center Kevin Garnett from the Boston Celtics. Team officials have been talking ahead of Sunday's game in Boston. Questions remain about whether the Celtics are ready to make a major step in rebuilding the franchise. Garnett has a no-trade clause in his contract, and would have to agree to waive it in order to make a deal happen.
The crux of an offer for Garnett, according to sources, would be based around second-year guard Eric Bledsoe and veteran wing Caron Butler.
Celtics officials have made no decisions about the future, even with rookie power forward Jared Sullinger (back surgery) joining point guard Rajon Rondo (knee) last week in seeing their seasons end.
Muddying the waters is the fact that the Celtics keep winning since Rondo went down and are whooping the Clippers as I write this. Note that the Clippers offered Bledsoe and Butler. The Celtics can still counter offer for something more, but Bledsoe (who is only 23) is quickly becoming a blue chip young player, so I doubt you can get much more than that for a player in his latter 30's. Most pundits didn't think the Celtics could win a title with Rondo. When he went down they said the best the Celtics could do would be to squeeze into the playoffs. Then Jared Sullinger went down. But the Celtics keep winning. Right now I'm pretty sure Danny Ainge's two closest friends have become rock and hard place.
