We all know DeMarcus Cousins has had a challenging year with the Sacramento Kings, but give him credit for not letting his frustrations show. On Thursday, Cousins spoke with the media during practice. As you can see, he was enthusiastic, upbeat, courteous and gave extremely thorough responses.
But seriously, how sick of Sacramento is this guy? Cousins missed the last two games as he was serving a suspension from the team following his halftime exchange with head coach Keith Smart last week. Earlier this month, he said he has absolutely no confidence in his game. Not only has he lost control of his temper at moments like this, but he also sounds completely depressed.
Obviously, it is time for a change of scenery. The problem is Cousins is too talented and has too much baggage. The only way Sacramento could get a team to trade for him is if they practically gave him away for free. Given how much they have invested in the former Kentucky star, that would be extremely painful to do.
DeMarcus Cousins has given the Kings plenty of problems since being drafted, but the team reportedly is still reluctant to trade the big man.
With DeMarcus Cousins continuing to get into trouble in Sacramento, the buzz is starting to grwo that the Kings might be finally ready to move the very talented, but troubled center. Marc Stein of ESPN is reporting that the Celtics are "highly interested" in the 22 year old (averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds per game this year).

The early word from the DeMarcus Cousins trade watch, according to the latest rumbles on the personnel grapevine, is that Kings co-owners Gavin and Joe Maloof remain reluctant in the extreme to part with their young big man, especially at a time when — after three suspensions already this season — Cousins’ trade value isn’t exactly on the upswing.

The club-imposed suspension that Sacramento Kings’ center DeMarcus Cousins received just before Christmas didn’t last very long. The NBA team announced on Dec. 24 that Cousins had been reinstated to the squad immediately after he apologized for his actions. He was originally banned from the team indefinitely on Dec 22 after a game with the Los Angeles Clippers the night before...
Report: Celtics, Pistons Will Prepare Offer for DeMarcus Cousins if Available The Boston Celtics are highly interested in DeMarcus Cousins. At least, that according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. In Stein’s Daily Dime on Friday December 28th, 2012, he states that: There’s a growing sense among potential suitors that under-fire Kings general manager Geoff Petrie, [...]

It is still possible that you have the chance to enjoy some holidays for the next days. At least that is my situation. You may be there sitting like me, with nothing more to do today than...
I guess when you are a struggling team like the Sacramento Kings, “indefinitely” means “one game.”

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Front-office sources say that Boston and Detroit, just to name two teams, have let it be known that they are highly interested if and when Cousins does become available. Rest assured there will be more.
The Celtics might be in need of a big man, but at what price should they consider going after one?
With DeMarcus Cousins ostensibly available due to ongoing issues with the Sacramento Kings, the Celtics would be remiss if they didn’t at least kick the tires and see what the asking price would be for the mercurial center’s talents.
While Cousins has had his problems with the Kings...

Via ESPN:There’s a growing sense among potential suitors that under-fire Kings general manager Geoff Petrie, who has overseen zero trips to the playoffs under five coaches in the six-plus seasons since Rick Adelman left town, would be willing to move Cousins, preferably in exchange for a dependable veteran of quality or two who could bring some instant improvement to a franchise...
