There have been numerous reports flying around the Internet regarding Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard not getting along, even to the point of having to be restrained from physically going after each other. Well, it seems like Kobe had enough of the rumors and took to Twitter to silence the critics. The Black Mamba Tweeted a picture of him facing off in a fighting stance with Dwight Howard and Coach Mike D’Antoni in between trying to hold them each back.
You have to give Kobe and Dwight credit for keeping things light, as the Lakers are boasting a paltry 15-18 record and just found out that both Howard and Gasol will be out indefinitely with injuries.

Although it seems pretty bad, Dwight Howard is saying his shoulder injury isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. The Los Angeles Lakers announced that Howard had a torn labrum in his shoulder, but Howard clarified yesterday. He said the injury is actually a separation from the bone - still a tear, though in medical terms.Dave McMenamin of ESPN Los Angeles says...

The Dwight Howard experiment has gone very wrong in LA, so far. Is it because of his back, the coach, Kobe or Dwight himself is anyone’s guess.
It could be a combination of all that.
Things will go from bad to worse if his shoulder injury is anything serious. Here is what Dwight had to say.

No Dwight Howard or Pau Gasol. No big draft trade, no superstar, no hope. This was the reality for every Houston Rocket fan. Local radio shows laughed at the Omer Asik signing, not knowing of his defensive dominance. Linsanity was to make money and be bad enough to get a top 3 draft pick in next year’s draft. Trading for James Harden gave people hope, but just enough to know...
