Although the NBA season is only two weeks old, Miami Heat fans already have an opportunity to own a piece of history from last year’s champions. ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted out Monday night that a new listing was posted on eBay for an authentic ring from the Miami Heat’s second NBA title. The ring, which comes with the official box and consists of gold and countless diamonds, is a staff ring, comparable to those earned by stars like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

The initial asking price for the piece of bling is $9,999.99. Heat fans looking for a piece of the King’s first title can bid on it, starting at only $10,000 — plus shipping and handling.

James leads Heat's late charge past Rockets

HOUSTON -- Even with a collection of ballyhooed offensive stars, the Miami Heat earned the 2011-12 NBA title by mustering exceptional defensive intensity during the regular season and ratcheting it up in the playoffs. So far this season, however, the Heat's defense hardly could be considered passable. Miami is ranked second in offensive efficiency for a reason, though, and...

Clippers ready for big test against Miami

The Miami Heat's coach, Eric Spolstra, has adopted what he calls a position-less philosophy. Basically, that means there are five multi-positional players playing the game on instinct. It is not as random as it sounds though. The very conventional plays and basketball philosophies still remain. The game is still played from the inside out and there are still set positions for...
