Via Cosby Sweaters:

If the NBA’s resident Discount Double-Checker is going to run his mouth, it might carry more weight if his team could actually beat the team he’s speaking ill of. The Chicago Bulls built up a 20-plus point lead Friday night against the New York Knicks — in Madison Square Garden, no less — before easing up on the gas pedal en route to a 108-101 win. Afterwards, 3-point specialist Steve Novak fired a shot at Bulls guard (and former Knick) Nate Robinson, referring to the diminutive spark plug as “Nathan”, and informing him that he can be “just like me” with his on-court antics. Well, “Nathan” got the last laugh, which is what the Bulls seem to be doing lately, thanks to a 3-0 record this season against their big-city rival.

Nate Robinson saw the response and took to Twitter to throw a little jab of his own.

POTD 1/10/13: DeMarcus Cousins on Bernard James

Today happens to be one of those days where I wish I could choose two winners, as both JR Smith and DeMarcus Cousins are entirely deserving of this particular POTD.  Each player threw down one of two remarkable slam dunks that, although very different, are almost equally impressive.  Smith took flight from the fringe of the painted area and, having launched off of his right foot...

Knicks 108, Bulls 101

NEW YORK -- Kevin Garnett and the Boston Celtics might have gotten under New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony's skin this week, but the Chicago Bulls should be getting on all of the Knicks' nerves by now. Hornets-Knicks Preview

A visit from one of the Western Conference's worst teams would appear to give the New York Knicks a prime opportunity to snap a season-high skid. The New Orleans Hornets, though, arrive at Madison Square Garden riding their longest win streak of the season, and Greivis Vasquez along with a healthier Eric Gordon have played significant roles in that run. The Hornets' backcourt...
