From Larry Brown Sports:

Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, recently finalized the sale of one of her three Southern California mansions, TMZ reports.
Kobe signed the couple’s three properties over to Vanessa when the two were beginning divorce proceedings in late 2011.
Vanessa listed the 6,000 square foot mansion on sale for $3.75 million in September. TMZ reports and a listing service confirms that the property officially sold for $3.22 million on Jan. 8. They say Vanessa’s mother was living in the mansion prior to the sale.
The couple purchased the property for $2.65 million in 2003, so Vanessa enjoyed a healthy profit on the investment.

According to a listing on Redfin.com, the property has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It is located in the Pelican Ridge Estate gated community in Newport Coast.
In addition to selling one of her mansions, Vanessa, like her husband, has recently joined a social media service. A few months before Kobe joined Twitter, Vanessa joined Instagram. She used her platform to respond to rapper Drake, who criticized her in one of his songs.
“I love when immature kids quote a rapper that has never been friends with Kobe and knows nothing about our relationship. Just shows how gullible they are,” Vanessa wrote on Instagram. “I don’t need to be in the gym. I’m raising our daughters, signing checks and taking care of everything else that pertains to our home life.
“I really wish people would stop THINK and then realize that they are being sucked into someone’s clear intention to monetize and gain attention off of our family’s heartache. This is real life. I hold down our home life so my husband can focus on his career. It’s a partnership.
“Since my husband is isn’t friends with Drake, we received a text of an apology forwarded from his manager. It’s done and over with and it’s now time for people to THINK before speaking.”
Kobe and Vanessa were said to be working on a reconciliation last June. Vanessa was said to be fuming over some pictures of Kobe that emerged over the summer, but things seemed to have been smoothed out since then. There have been no rumblings of Vanessa proceeding with the divorce she initiated and, based on what she’s written on Instagram, it seems like she is still dedicated to her husband.
