Western Conference Reserves: Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge and Russell Westbrook, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Steve Nash and Marc Gasol. Eastern Conference Reserves: Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams, Luol Deng, Andre Iguodala, Roy Hibbert and Paul Pierce. Analysis: In the Western Conference, the only major snubs are Rudy Gay and Kyle Lowry. Steve Nash is essentially in on a lifetime achievement award. A valid argument brought up by Charles Barkley on TNT is that the All Star game should be for players who are on winning teams, so that players who are putting up stats on a horrible team don’t make it in. This would be what propelled Kevin Love to the game last year on an awful Wolves team. Nash isn’t doing any record breaking, but he is playing well.
