New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis will raise eyebrows in GQ Magazine’s March issue. The 20-year-old has accomplished more than he ever imaged in just his sophomore season in the NBA. Davis basically feels like the chosen one, as he tells GQ: “I always wanted to be a Kobe, to be a LeBron, but I thought it’d be later in my career when I’d start being labeled a “superstar.” Davis was selected a member of USA Basketball to represent our country in the 2012 Olympic Games, alongside the players he admired like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Kevin Durant in his first year. Davis touched on the subject of what it felt like to be around greatness: “Those guys took me under their wing like a little brother, and I hadn’t even played an NBA game yet,” he says. “So it was definitely a cool thing to sit back and learn.” As if donning the red, white and blue wasn’t enough, Davis represented the city of New Orleans in this year’s NBA All-Star Game. Davis has exceeded basketball expectations in just a short time—now he can cross off GQ Magazine feature from the bucket list. In a fashionable manner, Davis models the business casual. In basketball the saying goes, “go hard or go home”—in fashion it applies as “go bold or go home.” GQ nails the skinny tie, bold spring-colored plaid shirt look on Anthony Davis with perfection. All five outfits are for the everyday gentleman in the midst of any occasion. Without further ado, GQ Magazine presents NBA All-Star Anthony Davis; check out the style in these photographs.
