Fantastic map! However, it brings about two questions. 1. Where are the Toronto Raptors? Can we get The Basketball Jones in here to solve this?  2.  Can we figure out a team for that area in question?  Clearly they have to choose between Portland, Denver and Minnesota right?  If I lived in that area I would pick the Trail Blazers.  Props to Stephen Litel for posting on Facebook.

Raptors have one of the best court designs in NBA

I was reading over the various basketball blogs, as I do each morning, and came across some positive Toronto Raptors news. Total Pro Sports had a post on the best 12 court designs in the NBA. As someone who watches a lot of Raptors ball, I knew their court had to be on the list, and it was. Why, well the colors are clean and despite them saying they don’t like the grey claw, I...

Raptors F Johnson exits with ankle injury

Toronto Raptors forward James Johnson exited Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls with a right ankle injury. X-rays were negative on Johnson, who will re-evaluated Sunday in Atlanta and is considered day-to-day. Johnson scored a season-high 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting before he was injured. He entered the game averaging 3.9 points and 4.3 rebounds.

Smith, Johnson push Hawks past Raptors

ATLANTA (AP) -- Josh Smith scored 28 points and pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds and Joe Johnson added 27 points to help the Atlanta Hawks win their third straight game with a 93-84 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday. Leandro Barbosa finished with 22 points in a reserve role for Toronto, which has lost five straight. Toronto was without center Andrea Bargnani, the...

Video: Andrea Bargnani’s underground All-Star anthem

Brilliant. We told you Andrea Bargnani is having a career year in Toronto (which, along with the Raptors improved defense, should have people using the words “Dwane Casey” and “coach of the year” in the same sentence). He’s actually defending as well as giving Toronto 22 points a game, and he’s doing it more efficiently…

Andrea Bargnani Power x Pasta Anthem

If I had an All-Star vote, I would never vote for Andrea Bargnani, even if the Mayan calendar gave us more time. Bastards! Yet somehow with the cold hand of the Apocalypse on our shoulder. The Basketball Jones has me rethinking what I would do with my imaginary vote, based on this Kanye West remix of Power and they also have me hungry for Primo pasta at the same time. How diabolical!

Another Late Collapse Sinks Raptors In Atlanta

Atlanta Hawks 93, Toronto Raptors 84

The Hawks outscored the Raptors 20-13 in the 4th quarter last night to pull away from the pesky Raptors.  Josh Smith (28 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Joe Johnson (27 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots) led the way for the Hawks last night.  Jeff Teague pitched in with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and 1 blocked shot...
