NBA Primetime presents another new series of rankings consisting of the young athletes in the league that will surely be on the rise during the upcoming season. From here on out, an article will be written periodically, ranking the top three upcoming stars for every position.NBA Primetime's Top Three Power-Forwards On The Rise1. Paul Millsap (PF, UTA) In just three seasons, Millsap has seen an increase in not only MPG, but PPG, RPG, APG, BPG, and SPG as well. With the physique similar to LeBron James (standing 6'8", weighing 250 + lbs) Millsap is certainly a rare commodity in the NBA. With or without Carlos Boozer on his side, Mr. Sap will unquestionably begin to emerge as one of the most biggest and scariest power-forward threats in the league today. After starting in a career-high 38 games last season (in replace of the injured Boozer) the NBA world was blessed to see a glimpse of what the big forward has to offer. Millsap brings extreme rebounding capabilities to the table, along with an impressive pair of hands to work with down low in the post, and most of all an unmatched aggressive attitude that will enable Paul to sky-rocket from just a back-up forward on the Jazz roster to a definite All-Star in the NBA. Look out for Millsap this season in all fantasy leagues, because this guy is sure to raise millions of eyebrows with his incredible statistics all across the board.Anthony Randolph (PF, GS) In 17.9 MPG last season, Randolph was able to average just under 8 PPG, 6 RPG, and 1.2 BPG. Since he will now be placed into the Warriors starting line-up for the '09-'10 season, his numbers will undoubtedly rise from mediocre averages to consistent double-doubles, along with a handful of blocks and steals per game.Standing 6'10", Randolph is a high-flying power-forward that is capable of producing serious numbers on both ends of the court. His long arms, legs, and super athleticism allows him to fly up and down the floor with ease, something not too many PF's are able to do.With a huge increase of MPG, Randolph will without a doubt arise as a top tier power-forward in the NBA today. And with a wingspan to that of a 7 footers, NBA players around the league will inevitably begin to realize that this 20 year-old is absolutely no joke.3. Luis Scola (PF, HOU) Although 29 years of age, Scola is only entering his third season in the NBA. After dropping career-highs in every stat last season, Scola comes into the new year with massive anticipation to produce at an even higher level. With Yao's health status up in the air, Scola's opportunity to step up his game and numbers could truly not have come at a better time. The Argentinian has proved highly durable throughout his first two seasons in the league, not missing one game thus far. And without T-Mac on the court until the second half of the season, Scola's odds at becoming the leader of the team and averaging a double-double per game are undeniably in favor for the two-year power-forward. Fantasy owners should look to draft Scola a little earlier than expected, as his draft average will be inflated to around the 7th-9th rounds. If drafted near the 5th-6th rounds, Scola's value to your team will be unmatched, especially with an injured Yao and T-Mac.
