Anyone who has watched the Knicks lately, can see that this is a team on the brink of failure. They’ve looked somewhat respectable up to the end of games, but just can’t quite pull out a tough victory. The season is not yet lost, but a few more weeks of losing, could spell the end of 2012 for the Knicks. The expectations are high in New York, as always, but especially with people starting to question whether Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire can co-exist?
Of course there are people who think that Baron Davis can save the Knicks. He’s been on the shelf all year with a bad back, and at 32, it’s very unclear what Baron can still bring to the table. Don’t get me wrong, I love Baron Davis, but realistically, can he save a team at this point in his career? If I was running the Knicks, I would be considering other options. Who else could be available to step up and lead this team to the playoffs? Steve Nash, is a man that immediately comes to mind.
