Nets.com now redirects to the official website of the Knicks

At what point will the Brooklyn Nets finally give in and make an offer to purchase the website Nets.com? Every team in the NBA has a website that you can get to by punching in the team’s name, except the Nets. On Sunday night, a trip over to Nets.com conveniently redirected users to the New York Knicks All-Star voting ballot. Now, it simply takes you to the official website of...

Nets.com domain features NY Knicks website

Domain names. If you are a company either doing business on the internet, or looking to strengthen your brand via the internet, they are quite a big deal. That's what makes the domain name of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets -- while not the most popular sports team in the planet, certainly one that is known to the casual sports fan -- so interesting. Like every other NBA team...

Keith’s Not So Smart!, said Isaiah Thomas

At 2-7 the Sacramento Kings needed to blame someone for their failures. Anyone! Psst, hey coach, let’s blame Isaiah Thomas, everyone’s doing it. He destroyed the Raptors, Pacers, Continental Basketball Association and the New York Knicks so it’s ok, let’s blame Isaiah, nobody will care. But wasn’t that the other Isaiah Thomas? Yes, but they are both around the same height...

Surprise Surprise: The Kings are struggling on the court yet again....

I've thought a lot about how to write this, and frankly I'm still confused. That's how confounding this group really is when you get right down to it. On the other hand, there are possible solutions out there. So let's discuss them, yeah? After the jump of course. Option 1: Stay the course This is one option that I think eludes people. After all, how...

Flopping Warnings - Evans and Martin

I had posted before that Reggie Evans needed to be warned for his flop from the Celtics game vs the Brooklyn Nets the other night. It was so obvious that the refs didn't even fall for it. Word came out from the NBA that he has been warned for it. Kind of restores a little faith in the officiating. Maybe. Kevin Martin has also been warned for a flop from the Thunder'...

Reserves help Nets beat Kings

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The New Jersey Nets are taking things however they come. So it made no difference that reserves scored more than half their points during a 99-90 victory over the Sacrament Kings Sunday evening in front of a crowd 11,965 at the Sleep Train Arena.. It was the fifth straight victory for the Nets, who opened a quick three-games-in-four-nights West Coast trip...

Williams: Dwight Was Never In Play For Nets

Deron Williams and Dwight Howard were unable to join forces with the Nets or any other team, but both have seemingly moved on.

Dwight Howard: If Deron Williams is mad at me for not going to the Nets, so be it

Deron Williams may have been more anxious than any other player or coach in the NBA during the whole Dwight Howard saga that took place last season. Williams wanted to play alongside a superstar, which is why he openly stated he was hoping Howard would come to the Brooklyn Nets and also why he strongly considered signing with the Dallas Mavericks. When all was said and done, he decided...

Howard comments on rift with Williams

Lakers big man Dwight Howard doesn't appear too concerned about a rift that has seemingly developed between him and his former pal, Nets star Deron Williams.

Shootaround: Dwight and Deron meet

Brooklyn Nets (6-2) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (5-5) 10:30 p.m./NBATV This was not supposed to be the first time Dwight Howard and Deron Williams were supposed to share the court together. They were supposed to be in the same uniform, in fact, not opposite colors. That was the plan at least. It was pretty clear from the moment Dwight Howard asked out of Orlando that he wanted...
