For the third time this season, a team from the Association has had a shakeup at the head coaching position, as the “Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel” has reported that the Milwaukee Bucks and former bench boss Scott Skiles have agreed to a “mutual decision,” which resulted in Skiles leaving his position. The coach, was in the last year of his contract; his assistant Jim Boylan will take over the bench; ironically the man who replaced him in Chicago when the Bulls and Skiles parted company on Christmas Eve, 2007. Bucks General Manager John Hammond, told reporters that they resolved the situation during a meeting between the G.M. and coach on Monday. The former NBA guard was in his fifth campaign with the club, leaving the squad this season with a record of 16-16 and an overall mark of 162-182. Milwaukee made it to the Post Season one time during his tenure, as the franchise finished his second season on the bench with a record of 46-36.
