Turn On The Knicks:
The NBA released its schedule on Tuesday, and our New York Knicks are once again one of the more prominent national television teams in the league. Here are a few things that stick out upon first look:
- While last season the Knicks were supposed to open with a marquee matchup against Brooklyn (postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, although the season opener ended up being against Miami anyways), this year the schedule makers didn’t have much drama in mind for our Knicks. They’ll kick off the season on Oct. 30 at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.
-The next night, Halloween, the Knicks play their first of 33 national television games with a tilt at Chicago. Of the 33, nine are on TNT (yayyyyyy Reggie Miller), 10 are on ESPN, six on ABC and eight are on NBA TV (does NBA TV count?).
- For the 4th straight season, the Knicks will be part of the NBA’s gluttonous Christmas Day showcase. New York hosts Oklahoma City at 2:30 PM, the second of five games on TV that day, which gives us fans plen...

Sisqo of Dru Hill, Jason Kidd, Chris Brown and ABC in Meteor Man. What do all those names have in common with Knicks star JR Smith? They all at some point thought blonde hair was a great idea. JR Smith recently dyed his hair blonde. Summertime boredom perhaps as he recovers from knee surgery and a new contract with the Knicks. I guess Knicks fans. photos via @TeamSwish

You know the old saying, “Blondes have more fun.”
It appears that New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith took that comment quite literally as he decided to dye his hair into a blonde look:

Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a story about New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith going blonde for a period of time.
However, it seems that due to the talking of head coach Mike Woodson, J.R. has gone back to the black hairstyle that you see in the below photo:
For those interested in JR Smith's hairstyle, his dad says he is going back to his traditional look, per...

Ever since the Nets made the move from New Jersey to Brooklyn at the beginning of last season, it seems that the rivalry between them and the New York Knicks has intensified.
