FootBasket:
It was one interesting night for Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum against the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday.
Starting out the game, Batum had a series of missed dunks that looked pretty easy for him. However, he started cranking things up late in the game, as helped push the game into double-overtime when he got an offensive rebound and threw up a shot with only milliseconds to spare to keep the game alive.
Batum ended it in solid fashion, hitting a leaning three-pointer in the corner with only .2 seconds left to put the Blazers up 118-117, resulting in a victory.
Batum finished the night with 22 points and seven rebounds.

The Hickson returns, helps Trail Blazers beat Cavs in double OT
J.J. Hickson was on the cover of the first Cavs Zine. Nothing can ever happen to change that.
We had high hopes for J.J. as a Cavalier once too, but sometimes the NBA gods have other plans.
He ended up in Sacramento for a time last season and things were looking pretty bad. Good news for Hickson is that he's now settled into a new home as a productive member of the Portland...

LaMarcus Aldridge on KG: “…he couldn’t punk me”
With LaMarcus Aldridge and the Portland Trailblazers coming into Boston, The Oregonian posted an interesting article about the matchup: Does Garnett’s style of play, and irritation, bring out the best in Aldridge? Can I quickly dispel this and say no?
According to article, Aldridge has a list of people who really bring out the aggravation in him. Guys like A’mare Stoudemire,...

Box Score: Blazers 118, Cavaliers 117 (2 OT)
In a highly entertaining game, it was a incredibly low probability shot that won this back-and-forth battle. Batum (22 points) was one of three Portland scorers over the 20-point mark with rookie Damian Lillard (24) and Lamarcus...
Portland Trail Blazers: Wise Beyond Their Years
We have all heard the phrase before: somebody being "wise beyond their years". I've been thinking about this phrase the past couple days.
This current Portland Trail Blazers team has taken incredible heat from the media on being young, inexperienced and unprepared to compete in the league right now. But I would like to argue that this team is a lot closer than a...
Green Envy: What Blazers fans said - 11/30
Part of you has to feel bad for Blazers fans. The team is just bad. How bad? Some of the worst teams in the league look forward to playing Portland so they can get a win. *cough*Washington*cough*
They should get some sympathy because it wasn't so long ago the Celtics were a laughing stock even though they had plenty of talent on paper. Needless to say, there was not a whole...
