Denver, CO. Someone in the NBA offices wants the Denver Nuggets to start off slowly to begin this upcoming season. They then head to Orlando and Miami before coming …

The Denver Nuggets unveiled their new alternate uni’s today. What do you think? I was always a fan of the Alex English Era uniforms even though they looked a bit rainbow-ish. I think this was a good compromise although they kind of look like the Pacers now. The shorts seem Marquette inspired too

The Denver Nuggets unveiled some new alternative uniforms on Monday (pictured above). The retro-style unis are about as yellow as the grass is green. Yeah, that's pretty yellow. Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried (No. 35) seems to realize how goofy they look. He struggled to muster an embarrassed look anywhere else but the floor.Bottom line: It might be wise to bring some shades...

The Denver Nuggets have never been known for their fashion sense on the court. Over the years the team has worn a slew of uniforms that even the most tripped-out acid freak would deem over-the-top (See: here, here, here, and here).
Recently the team has taken to a simple powder blue uni that is unoffensive and rather pleasant. Clearly that had to change. On Monday the team...

Ty Lawson received a stream of text messages from his Denver Nuggets coach all summer asking the same thing: Are you leading right now?
Leading? The speedy point guard was typically sleeping, since George Karl fired off most of the messages in the middle of the night.
Still, Lawson understood his point. For the Nuggets to take another step forward, Lawson has to step up and take...

I posted about the new Denver Nuggets alternate yellow jersey a few weeks ago here in which it was spotted in 2k13, and amazingly, the feedback I received was pretty positive. The yellow is loud and definately a “LOOK AT ME” color, but it still utilizes the old school landscape that many of you [...]The post Denver Nuggets new Alternate jerseys are FIRE appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl has been around the NBA block quite a few times, with none of those trips involving a stop in Los Angeles. So, naturally, he hates the Lakers. Unfortunately for Karl, even he admits that his hatred for the Lakers stems from his struggles in getting past one of basketball's most decorated franchises. "I can't deny that I just despise...

ESPN interviewed Andre Iguodala last week and asked him a bevy of questions including on being traded, Denver’s altitude, what his role will be in George Karl’s system, as well as discussing the difference between Denver and Philadelphia. Not a knock on any city, but Philly and Denver are kind of the opposites. Philly’s [...]The post Andre Iguodala Dishes on the Differences...

The Denver Nuggets will be wearing a throwback uniform for this upcoming season. They will be wearing 18 times this season all at home. These jerseys are similar to the jerseys they wore in the 1990s, except for the yellow color scheme.
No, these jerseys won’t make the Nuggets play better or Ty Lawson looked faster but it is a cool new look.

I like George Karl. As a matter of fact, I’m smitten with George Karl. I enjoy his ribs with the media, I enjoy his old-school ways, I enjoy the way he seems not to care about what fans want — within reason — so it doesn’t come as a surprise when I am called [...]The post Dear George Karl, the Denver Nuggets are not the darlings of the NBA appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

The Melo era in Denver Nuggets basketball not only brought relevance back to the Nuggets brand, but also brought a bit of thuggery to the team as well. Clearly, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder own the Western Conference — doesn’t matter who you put first or second — those two talented teams are the threats in the West. Everyone else is in a distant third, but according to the Denver Nuggets point guard, Ty Lawson, that isn’t true. [...]The post Ty Lawson believes the Denver Nuggets are the best team...
