All Things Nuggets:
As one player – starting point guard Ty Lawson – appears doubtful for tonight’s game against Toronto, two other Nuggets are set to return.
Guards Arron Afflalo and Rudy Fernandez both participated in this morning’s shootaround and will play in the game. Afflalo should assume his normal spot in the starting lineup as the Nuggets get back to more of a normal rotation – at least as normal as it can be without Lawson, anyway.
“I’m good,” Afflalo said. “I’m going to try to go tonight. I’ll be fine. I worked out pretty hard yesterday.”
Both Afflalo and Fernandez have missed the last two games. Afflalo has rested and rehabbed a groin injury while Fernandez continues to deal with a chronic Achilles ailment.
Nuggets coach George Karl said he’s not sure how long he will play the duo because he doesn’t want either to experience a setback from playing too long.
