The Denver Nuggets on the brink of elimination for the second game ran the Los Angeles Lakers up and down the court to a 113-96 Game 6 win to force a Game 7 back in LA.

Game 7 will be Saturday night at the Staples Center.  Denver hasn't played in a Game 7 since losing to Utah in the 1994 Western Conference semifinals.

“There’s no way I thought what happened tonight would happen,” Nuggets head coach George Karl told reporters.  

Ty Lawson led the Nuggets with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists while Corey Brewer scored 18 points.

Kobe Bryant scored 31 points with 4 assists for the Lakers while Andrew Bynum grabbed 16 rebounds and 11 points.  Pau Gasol was held to just 3 points. 

Bynum was absent from team huddles in the second half, often sitting with a towel around his neck on the end of the bench while his teammates listened to the coaches.
