Given his track record shooting 3-point shots Randy Foye's first three games with the Nuggets are the exception to his normally sharpshooting rule.
But he's in no way worried about it.
Signed during the offseason to a three-year contract to bolster the Nuggets' 3-point shooting Foye has started slowly. In four exhibition games he's averaging 7.7 points on 40.7 percent shooting including 33.3 percent from the 3-point line.
His best outing came Monday in the Nuggets' victory over San Antonio when he scored 15 points and made 6-of-10 shots including 3-of-5 attempts from the 3-point line.
"If you look at what I shot last year from the 3 during the preseason it was horrible" Foye said. "It felt good to make a few but it's preseason. I still have a lot of work to do."
Foye whose career performance from the arc is just over 40 percent shot 39 percent from long range last year with Utah. Comfort is a big deal to a shooter and it's been di...

This season could be a make-or-break year for Kenneth Faried‘s future with the Denver Nuggets. Denever Nuggets’ small forward Kenneth Faried is entering his third NBA season. There has been notable improvement in his game, but at 23 years old, still a raw talent that needs increased time to full develop. Unfortunately, that time may be put on hold due to a hamstring injury.
As reported by Kurt Helin of NBCSports.com, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reported that Faried...
With the departures of George Karl and Masai Ujiri this offseason, Josh Kroenke has taken the Denver Nuggets in the direction of a more modern front office.
Kroenke hired Tim Connelly as general manager and Brian Shaw as head coach.
"We never want to tell the coach what he has to do: He has to decide the best combinations on the floor, who to play, what to run," said Kroenke...

Even for the always smiling joking Timofey Mozgov last season became a drag. He wanted to play and thought he was headed toward more playing time yet down the stretch he was forced to accept that his view of most Nuggets games would be from the bench.
Mozgov got swept up in a numbers game at center. Kosta Koufos was the starter. JaVale McGee got the backup center minutes. Mozgov...
The Nuggets can’t afford to lose anybody else. Gallinari is going to miss significant time due to rehab, Andre Iguodala and George Karl left in the off-season. Considering all them factors, it’s essential for Kenneth Faried to take his game to new heights but he must be on the court to do so. #Nuggets F […]
