NY Sports Nut:
Word out of the Knicks camp is that Tyson Chandler is feeling 100% healthy and ready to take on his former team, the Dallas Mavericks.
Last week Chandler suffered from strep throat, but has fully recovered. Chandler also has shed the brace he had been wearing due to his sore knee.
Chandler and the Knicks will take on the Mavericks tonight at 7pm, as they try to start out the season with four consecutive wins. After the Spurs loss, they remain the only undefeated team in the NBA.
Chandler will try to slow down the Mavs new addition, Chris Kaman. Kaman is shooting an absurd 70% from the field, tallying 18 points per game so far.
The Mavs have played well so far this year and the addition of OJ Mayo has been a success so far. Defending Mayo and Kaman will be key to securing the fourth win of the season for the Knicks.
Taking care of the defensive glass will also be a huge factor for the team. The Knicks have done an amazing job defensively, but they cannot let good defense go for naught by allowing second chance points.

The Dallas Mavericks are apologizing to their fans for trotting out the broken down versions of Vince Carter, Shawn Marion and Elton Brand by having their dance team frolic in white sparkly bikinis. The Dallas Mavericks Dancers’ uniforms made their debuts this past Saturday at the Mavs’ home opener. The fabric-challenged gear was the hit of the show as the Mavs beat the…ah...
Though he's yet to hit the hardwood for the Knickerbockers this season, Iman Shumpert has remained front and center as he rehabs his way back.A supportive teammate, Shumpert has already been seen sitting on the Knicks' bench during home games. He's worked out with Baron Davis, who is sticking around the team, as he too, nurses a similar injury, despite not having a contract...
The New York Knicks have put a stop to a series of advertisements that formerly appeared at bus stops and various places around New York City. Apparently the team realized that running an ad campaign that is loaded with insults is not the best idea.
Here are some examples of what the ads said, via Pro Basketball Talk:
It’s Friday night. You can either go out and attempt to pick...
I don't think Dirk Nowitzki will be quitting his day job any time soon.
The video is obviously meant to be funny, and I guess the fact that he doesn't appear to know what he's even singing does strengthen that assertion. Adding to that, he's German after all and not even "born in the USA." And as far as I can tell, he's not even drunk in this video...
Stoudemire and Anthony have yet to live up to the high expectations that were placed on them when Melo came over from Denver.credit: bleacherreport.com
At 4-0, the New York Knicks are the only remaining undefeated team in the NBA. After an offseason where they experienced a significant amount of player movement, it was worth wondering how they would come together and begin the season...
NEW YORK - When it yielded 57 points in the first half, the New York Knicks' defense looked as if it might finally crack after three stellar games. And they were clinging to just a one-point lead when their leader, Carmelo Anthony, took a rest due to foul trouble halfway through the third quarter. No matter. The Knicks continued their surprising start to the season by shutting...
The New York Knicks have officially unveiled their uniforms for their Christmas day match-up with the Los Angeles Lakers next month, as the following uniform above is modeled by guard Iman Shumpert.
What do you think of them? Looks really orange, almost Denver Broncos-like.

At some point in the next few weeks, the Dallas Mavericks will welcome Dirk Nowitzki back to the lineup. But against all odds, they're doing just fine without him.
In past seasons the Mavs have looked lost without their superstar. But with a surprising 4-1 start, they appear to be flourishing. And with each passing day, the degree of difficulty seems to rise. Already missing...
Former New York Knicks head coach, Mike D’Antoni is trying his best to become relevant this year in the NBA. If talks with Phil Jackson break down, the Lakers appear to have a second option firmly in place. How would Mike D’Antoni fair with this older Laker team with his fast pace, point guard oriented offense? Well that’s up for debate, but his winning record with Steve Nash...
