Observations

I don't know if Zydrunas Ilgauskas is the worst post defender in the NBA, although it's certainly possible. I do feel comfortable saying that he's the worst big man in the league when it comes to guarding Dwight Howard. I thought people were getting a little crazy in they way they were talking about Howard on the offensive end after the Cleveland series. Howard is a monster defensively and one of the best rebounders I've ever seen, but he's still raw offensively. He dominated the Cleveland series, scoring at will for long stretches and generally looking like a guy who can't possibly be stopped. Even after watching that, I still remembered the Boston series where Howard had a ton of trouble scoring against Kendrick Perkins and that Howard only averages 21 points per game during the regular season.
