Jason Whitney Amar’e Stoudemire is out again, this time it’s his right knee Amar’e Stoudemire’s career seems to be taking hit after hit. Stoudemire missed the first two months of this season while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Now STAT will be missing some more time. After playing 32, 31 and 29 minutes over the last three games, Stoudemire had been right at the 30 minute threshold the Knicks’ medical staff had placed on Stoudemire, to help preserve the health of his knees. According to Knicks’ head coach, Mike Woodson, Stoudemire is scheduled to have a right knee debridement next week and will miss approximately six weeks. This is another blow to a Knicks team that has endured injury after injury so far this season. Despite the injuries piling up, the Knicks are still battling the Indiana Pacers for the coveted second seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Knicks are hoping Amar’e Stoudemire can make it back in time for the NBA playoffs. Amar’e Stoudemire is scheduled to have a right knee debridement this coming week.
