Tony Parker probably can get a table at any restaurant in San Antonio, but not in Memphis.
The Spurs star was turned away from Restaurant Iris, a trendy Memphis eatery, this week and the chef, Kelly English, wasn't shy about it. But he says it wasn't because Parker plays for the Spurs, who lead the Grizzlies 2-0 in the West finals.

This is a bit of an old story but it sure is a juicy one that not many people know about. We all know that some people go over the top when it comes to supporting their teams. But a Memphis restaurant took it to a new extreme this week when they refused to serve San Antonio’s Tony Parker.

The city of Memphis did not roll out the southern hospitality for Spurs guard Tony Parker. First Parker was denied a table at Iris restaurant. Even the Russian judge would have to give these fans a 10 for their trolling efforts
They held up these very conspicuous pictures while Tony Parker was the free throw line during Saturday’s game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, in Memphis.
The Spurs eventually won in OT, but still, their trolling efforts deserve a valiant round of applause.
