Thursday is a big day for several NBA players, as the All-Star game reserves will be announced and one member of the San Antonio Spurs would be glad to be among the players selected if his name is announced.
“I’ll be very happy if I’m selected,” said San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker who once again led the Spurs to victory on Wednesday as the Spurs defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 100 to 90 in Philly.
Parker is making a case for himself to make the Western conference All-Star squad as he scored a game high 37-points against the 76ers, and has scored a combined 100 points in the Spurs’ last three games.
Parker received some help as Tim Duncan (16 points, 11 rebounds), Gary Neal (18 points, 4-of-4 from three), and Tiago Splitter (15 points) pitched in the team effort to score 100 points on the number one ranked defense in the NBA.
