I actually have always liked Pau Gasol's game. He'd be a tremendous addition to the Celtics, but based on age and contracts the Lakers would be getting the better of the deal. I think the main thing to take from this rumor is that it doesn't look like Danny Ainge wants to rebuild around Rajon Rondo, so unfortunately we need to be prepared for Rondo's possible (probable) departure. It sucks, but the writing is on the wall. Ainge continues to offer Rondo around the league. Eventually a trade will go down.
