While Paul Pierce is one-hundred percent committed to the Celtics right now, in the absence of Rajon Rondo and Jared Sullinger, the captain might not be so committed to what’s next for the franchise. If Celtics GM, Danny Ainge, decides to go into a rebuilding direction next season, Paul Pierce doesn’t want to be a part of it.

I just think at this point in time that’s something that would wear on me too much mentally that I don’t know what decision I may make if I have to. I may retire if I have to. You know, that’s something that’s a year-end process, especially given the situation that we have right now….
