TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Brian Roberts scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half, including the go-ahead jumper with 30.6 seconds left, and the New Orleans Pelicans stayed unbeaten in the preseason with a 105-102 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.
Roberts put the Pelicans in front after Reggie Jackson's driving layup had given the Thunder a 102-101 lead. Anthony Davis added two free throws with 21 seconds left to push the Pelicans' lead to 105-102, then blocked Jeremy Lamb's 3-point attempt with 3.2 seconds left.
Eric Gordon scored 21 points for the Pelicans and Davis finished with 18.
Kevin Durant shrugged off a slow start to score 25 points. After shooting 4 of 12 from the field in the first half, Durant found his range in the third quarter. The forward nailed a 3-pointer to open the Thunder's second-half scoring and finished the quarter with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting.
He played 32 minutes and did not see action in the fourth quarter.
Rookie reserve Steven Adams had 10 points and 15 rebounds and Serge Ibaka finished with 11 points, including seven in the fourth quarter.
Coming into the game 13 of 58 on 3-pointers in the preseason, Oklahoma City found its touch from long distance, connecting on 9 of 12 3s in the first half in grabbing a 56-52 lead at intermission. The Thunder finished 12 of 23 from behind the arc.

Following the charges of assault on a woman and her brother outside a Houston nightclub in July, the question that has plagued the Oklahoma City Thunder for the past two years has reared its ugly head again: Is keeping Kendrick Perkins on the roster worth it?
This is by no means a new issue, as every year seems...
It's not groundbreaking analysis to tell you that Anthony Davis is unique. No it's not just because of the unibrow.
There aren't many people in the world that are 6'10.5" with a 7'5.5" reach. There aren't even many people in the NBA with those kinds of measurements. The New Orleans Pelicans' future was selected No. 1 overall in the 2012 draft...
When a team that won 60 games a season ago is returning the bulk of its core players a rookie big man selected in the draft is usually going to be slated for development duty rather than be pressed into immediate action as part of the regular rotation.
While that’s likely to be true for the Thunder’s Steven Adams the seven-footer taken with the 12th overall pick in this summer’s...
The Oklahoma City Thunder are struggling from three-point range. The main focus has been on Jeremy Lamb but is he the only answer the Thunder have?
Three games into the Oklahoma City Thunder's preseason schedule and the team has yet to turn in a decent 3-point shooting performance.

When Steven Adams was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder as a first round pick in the NBA draft, many believed the center would be a project for the organization and spend most of the season in the D-League.
The Thunder, however, have not discussed sending Adams to their D-League affiliate, citing his strong training camp.
“It’s something that we never talked about,” Brooks...
Eric Gordon made his 2013 preseason debut tonight and finished with 21 points in only 21 minutes of action as the New Orleans Pelicans came into Tulsa and defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 105-102 on Thursday night. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s “Thunder Girls” ran through their team calendar shoot. I won’t demand that you watch it, but I have watched worse things.
When the team has a roster that's pretty much set experience and a proven record of winning the preseason is a chance to do some evaluating.
So here it goes:
Kevin Durant is still good.
OK no news there but what Tuesday night against the Nuggets showed was Durant is good enough to carry a team this Oklahoma City team by himself.
And yes he's gonna have to do it for...
