76ers Central:
Sometime this week the Philadelphia 76ers are expected to extend qualifying offers to restricted free agents Thaddeus Young and Spencer Hawes.
Both Young and Hawes will become restricted free agents on July 1st. Extending qualifying offers to both will give the 76ers 7-days to match any deals offered to either player when free agency begins.
The Sixers are said to be very interested in signing Thaddeus Young long-term. While Spencer Hawes will likely be used in a back up role if the Sixers are able to acquire a starting center.
