The Union suffered a 3-1 loss on saturday to the Houston Dynamo in Houston, Texas. The loss dropped the union to 10-16-6 while the houston dynamo at 14-8-11 clinched the final playoff spot in the eastern conference with the win. The Dynamo would strike first after a mistimed clearance from captain Carlos Valdes fell into the run of Houston forward Macoumba Kandji, who beat a pair of Union defenders and slotted the ball coolly past Union keeper Zac MacMath in the fifth minute. The Union would level in the 19th minute when forward Jack McInerney headed a driven cross from Sheanon Williams back across goal to the far post of Houston. The goal marked McInerney’s fourth in as many matches, as the 20-year-old became the all-time consecutive game goals leader with four, surpassing former Union forward Sebastien Le Toux. The Union still holds a 3-2-2 all-time edge over the Dynamo, but are 2-2 all-time in Houston. The team returns Sunday and will have to prepare to go back out on the road for a Wednesday night showdown with Sporting Kansas City at Livestrong Park. Saturday marks the season finale, when the Union are up against rival Red Bull New York. The scorers for the night were for the Houston Dynamo Macoumba Kandji,Boniek Garcia and Brad Davis. For the Union the loan goal scorer was Jack McInerney. Houston on the night had 18 shots with 7 of the shots on goal. For the Union they had 7 shots with only 1 on goal. The Union have two games remaining on the season against sporting KC and New York. Hopefully they finish the season strong to build on next year. Prior to their upcoming game the union are 1-1 against sporting KC.

Knicks vs 76ers Pre Game:
The Knicks are once again shorthanded. Yes, we get to see the debut of Ronnie Brewer at the shooting guard position and yes, this will be Carmelo Anthony’s return to the Carrier Dome on the campus of Syracuse University.
